Title: ebox and vista

I can't connect to my ebox via samba at all. i would be very grateful if anyone could help me.

What is your samba version?  You must have >3.0.26. For ebox, this means you must use the ubuntu install.

i am installing it off standard ebox CD. i don't know what version of Samba I have, but i don't have the ubuntu version.

Unfortunately, you are out of luck at the moment. You could try the Ubuntu cd.
