Thanks for your post.

I succesfully did an upgrade following your post, thanks you very much.

It was upgrading from  1.5.14 to zentyal 2.0.

The command (add-apt-repository ppa:zentyal/2.0) didnt work first.

I needed to install a missing package first

sudo apt-get install python-software-properties

After that it was working without any problem.

Sorry for this late response. I was running the ebox in a wmserver environment and i think i gave it 64 MB to start with. I increased it to 128 and then it was working again.

Hi,

I am not sure if this is a problem or it is just me that dont understand the firewall settings. The other day i was trying to access www.megavideo.com. The page didn't load. I tried to do an nslookup on the address from my local computer and i got this response

nslookup www.megavideo.com

;; Truncated, retrying in TCP mode.

When i run the same command from a computer not within the network i get a correct response, it also works if i do the same request directly from the ebox server. It seems that the ebox firewall is blocking or not correctly forwarding dns request with the tcp protocol to the local network. In the case of megavideo the size of the package is to large to be sent with udp and therefore the dns requests fails. Hope that someone can confirm this as i am not totally sure of it.

Hi,

Is there anyone who have been succesfull in adding a HP LaserJet 1020 printer through the ebox interface. I reach the step when i am supposed to select a driver from a dropdown. The dropdown is empty and therefore it will not allow me to proceede.

Do i need to install the HPLIP package on the ebox server before trying to add the printer?

It seems to have been an issue with the ram memory. I followed your advice and increased it, thereafter it was working lika a charm again.

Hi,

I get this error when i try to access the ebox administration page.

"An internal error has ocurred. This is most probably a bug, relevant information"
