Other modules / Zentyal 5 dns not working for linux box!
« on: September 07, 2017, 08:14:05 pm »
Hi everybody!
I have installed from a couple of month ago Zentyal 4.5 as Primary Domain Controler + Kerio Control, and everything work as expected, except for one strange thing!
All linux box, including Opensuse, Debian, Centos, can't resolve dns, i can ping local but when i try to open browser and google.com they dont work !
But Windows box work without any problems! very strange...
When i left domain ( no more Zentyal as PDC) everything is working with Kerio Control, but when i linkup Zentyal as PDC all linux pc could not browse any more.
if some one have any clue about that i will appreciated!
Best,
-Roy

Installation and Upgrades / 2 local nic
« on: June 07, 2016, 04:06:04 pm »
Hi everybody,
I need advice for the following problem:
First here my setup:
I have one router / with a couple of switches,
And Zentyal 4.2 Act only as PDC / share permission, with 2 nic, one for my Lan ( 10.0.0.1 ) as my PDC, all working fine, the other nic ( 10.1.0.1 ) would be used only for specific application that need a separate traffic because require high bandwidth.
Problem, when client are on first LAN ( 10.0.0.1 ) they could not access to second nic ( 10.1.0.1 ) that make sense because they are on another segment.
it could access to another computer exp: from pc on ( 10.0.0.21 ) to pc on ( 10.1.0.107 ) and vice versa with out any problems.
because user from LAN ( 10.0.0.X ) need to access shared folder on second nic ( 10.1.0.1 ) that folder came from PDC, because we cannot make all traffic on same lan because of the bandwidth.
i know i can edit /etc/network/interfaces setting to make the two nic in the same network but i think it could be bad for Zentyal
to have that kind of config.
Thanks in advance!
