do a tail -30 /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log
you will find nsupdate -g -t 10 .... which must be failing. Its not DHCP failure but failure to do dynamic dns update.

Other modules / Zentyal 5.0 Dynamic DNS does not register DHCP lease from Linux client

I am new to Zentyal and version 5.0 is the first release I am using.

I am using it for Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
I have configured my network as such:
Router: 192.168.1.1
Zentyal DNS: 192.168.1.2

When I add a windows pc to Zentyal, it registers in DNS. However, even with Dynamic DNS enabled, Linux machines do not register in the DNS, although they show up in DHCP lease.

The error I get are
samba_dlz: spnego update failed
dhcpd: unable to add forward map

I have searched a lot on the net but could not find a solution. Is it that I made some very basic setup mistake or dynamic dns does not work out of the box with Zentyal 5.0.

P.S. I have upgraded to Zentyal 5.0.3, which at least corrected "Failed to restart module dns".
