For testing (when I setup my cloud), I created an LDAP User for the "LDAP Lookup" [can only "read" the LDAP].

Looking at your error message, you should add the credentials of an LDAP user that can do the lookup.

Or the problem is "splunkers" vs "neoscopio" ...

Hi,

I do not run OwnCloud, but Nextcloud...

There it looks like this:
CN=[User Name for Lookup],CN=Users(OU with users),DC=[Domainname],DC=[TLD]

BaseDN = DC=[Domainname],DC=[TLD]

() is for explanatuion
[] has to be adapted to the setup

Sieht so aus, als ob kein Kerberos Ticket erstellt werden kann weil Username / Passwort falsch sind...
Evtl mal mit einem anderen User al dem "allmächtigen" nutzen? Wurde der Admin evtl umbenannt?

sorry, but regarding to the Logs you provided, it looks like a Jabber Problem...

maybe Jabber blocks the upgrade?
could you try to uninstall Jabber, upgrade and afterwards reinstall Jabber?

did you try to set the dns user to "do not expire"? (dsa.msc / WebGUI)

If I remember right, the combination was StartTLS , "with password" (and secure port)
The Autodetect also does not work in my net, but adding it semi-manual helps ;-)

could you please post the error message when doing it from CLI?
Did you check the logfiles?

/var/log/zentyal/zental.log and maybe /var/log/syslog

I beleive there is a hint why it is failing...

Hi,

in my Network I have several PCs configured with Thunderbird...

What did you use as auth options? (plain Kerberos,...)?
I think the issue is in this options...
As I do not have access atm, I can only try to look after this in the evening :-(

In Zentyal (Usermanagement) try to reassign the mailbox to the user...
Maybe there is an option to do this "for masses", I only had to do this for max 15 user...

Hi,

ich erinnere mich, dass es eine ziemlich gute Anleitung für Letsencrypt / Certbot gibt...
Hab aber grad nicht die Möglichkeit zu suchen :-(

Es musste in der (richtigen!) .mas (Config Datei von Zentyal) der Pfad zum Zertifikat angepasst werden...
