Installation and Upgrades / Re: Error activating egroupware
« on: April 04, 2009, 01:50:20 pm »
I don't see that your problem was related with having a non-upgraded version of ebox-egroupware.
But, anyway, glad to hear you have solved the issue

Installation and Upgrades / Re: How-to block msn (live) messenger
« on: April 02, 2009, 03:34:57 pm »
I think the problem is that messenger clients can also use HTTP protocol (port 80) to connect to the server.
You can try to use ebox-l7-protocols module (there is a post regarding that in this forum) to filter msn packets.
Hope this helps!

Hi newuser44!
The header admin name is "admin", the domain admin name is "ebox", the password is the same in both cases and is located at /var/lib/ebox/conf/ebox-egroupware.passwd as you said.
Regarding the menus... please try to change the theme, the default theme is "idots" but we changed it to "jerryr" which seems to be nicer. Try to change it back again to see if you have the same problem. The permissions update doesn't affect to this (it was only a problem applying permissions to a group).
Hope this helps!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: eGroupware sync
« on: April 01, 2009, 07:02:49 pm »
Hi chessyking!
Thank you for the tip! I think it will be very useful to a lot of people
I have just changed "db" to "php4" in the ebox trunk, so the next version will come with it.
Meanwhile, I recommend changing /usr/share/ebox/stups/egroupware/header.inc.php.mas instead, because the other file will be overwritten everytime something changes in the configuration.

J. A. Calvo

Hi,
Yes, Felamimail is the webmail module provided by egroupware.
To start using ebox-egroupware you only have to enable the module (like any other ebox module) and access to http://your_ebox_ip/egroupware
Hope this helps! Let us know any other problem you encounter

Installation and Upgrades / Re: eGroupWare permission templates
« on: April 01, 2009, 12:13:07 pm »
Hi, that bug is fixed on the ebox-egroupware 1.0.2 package that will be uploaded to the repository very soon (today).
Note that if you change a permission template you have to apply it again (pressing Change button) to all the affected users. Maybe in the future we'll have an easier way to do this.
Hope this helps!

Installation and Upgrades / Re: Needing eBox install CD even to use apt-get?
« on: March 28, 2009, 11:03:32 am »
Yes it is recommended and it should not broke anything.
If there is any other package you can't found change that line:
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy main restricted
With that one:
deb http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy main universe restricted

Edit the /etc/apt/sources.list file.
Remove or comment all CD-ROM related lines.
Add the following line:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ebox/ubuntu hardy main
And then execute: apt-get update
Hope this helps!

Sí es probable que se implemente en un futuro próximo, es algo que otros usuarios ya han pedido con anterioridad.
Gracias por probar eBox!

Well, the question that you answer when you do a dpkg-reconfigure, as it occurs when configuren other packages as ldap, is useless. eBox generates the password for you, and you can found it at /var/lib/ebox/conf/ebox-egroupware.passwd.
You can also edit that file and restart egroupware modle if you want to change the password.

Hola!
Como te he dicho en el post del foro de instalación en inglés, me temo que actualmente sólo soportamos 1 dominio.
Tendrás que esperar a una próxima versión que soporte multi-dominio entre otras nuevas interesantes características.
Un saludo!
