mi recomendación es que simplemente utilices el comando wakeonlan pasándole como parámetro la dirección mac de la tarjeta de red del equipo al que pretendes despertar. En principio un switch no debería ocasionar problemas.

Hello,
you should now be able to install version 2.3.4 of zentyal-dhcp from our ppa which will allow you to do the dhcp thin client configuration the way I told you. There was a conflict between the zentyal-dhcp package in our ppa and the one in the ubuntu repos.
Updates between 2.3 packages are not sure to work flawlessly, so you may need to do a fresh install for everything to work properly.

Hello Lapinou,
in the dhcp server thin client configuration, if you select "Zentyal LTSP" as "Next server" you can then select the architecture of the image instead of having to enter its path. In your case, you can select "32 bits" for i386 images.

Para hacer lo que quieres tienes que crear un objeto y añadirle miembros con las parejas IP-MAC que quieras. Es decir, cada miembro será una máquina a la que le realizarás la asignación de una IP en función de su MAC.

En una máquina en producción normalmente es mejor instalar paquetes solo de los repositorios que vienen por defecto al instalar Zentyal, por seguridad. Si de verdad necesitas instalar paquetes que no se encuentran en estos repositorios, como bien dice diegopardo, lo mejor es probar primero en otra máquina (una máquina virtual por ejemplo), para comprobar que lo que quieres hacer funciona como debe.

Efectivamente, es el mismo usuario y no se puede hacer desde la interfaz, lo tienes que hacer desde la linea de comandos con el comando 'passwd'.

La instalación de paquetes es igual que en Ubuntu. Es posible que estés ejecutando el comando sin los permisos necesarios. ¿Estás usando 'sudo' para ejecutarlo?
