Email and Groupware / Cannot send mails (Thunderbird)
« on: December 29, 2020, 03:22:01 pm »
Hi,

today I realized that I am no longer able to send mails with Thunderbird (SSL).

When sending from a mobile / WebMail everything is working smooth...

The only strang thing I could find in the logs is, that the Client connects and (after some time) looses its connection.
Tested with two useraccounts on two different devices.

Does anyone have an idea?

Installation and Upgrades / No WebMail View (partially) [SOLVED]
« on: December 14, 2020, 02:30:31 pm »
Hi,

after doing the latest updates, the WebMail is showing only an empty page (no entries visible).
In the Logs I found the following (not sure if it is relevant...):

gogo.log:
sogod[5732:5732] parseTimeZone: cannot parse time notation 'GMT'
(several times)

nothing in the syslog :-(

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Hi,

I just realised, that all useraccounts are vanished when viewing them via WebGUI ( Users and Computers).
They are still existing when accessing via dsa.msc, but I do not see any option there to change (e.g.) mailbox settings.

Does anyone have a clue where to look?

Email and Groupware / [Solved] SOGo 4.0.0 Addressbook View
« on: April 03, 2018, 04:26:32 pm »
Hi,

I upgraded my servers this morning to Zentyal 5.1 and it looks good, only one little "problem":

When I am in SOGo, and go to the Adressbook, the entries do not show up (it looks like they are loading, and loading,...).
When I click on one of the entries, I can see it...

I tried to attached a JPG to show it, but the "upload folder" is full :-( (the green bars are moving constantly from left to right)...

Tested with the latest Version of Chrome and InternetExplorer 11.0.56

Any suggestions how to solve it?

Regards

Other modules / IPS not installable on Zentyal 5.0.11
« on: March 30, 2018, 11:55:35 am »
Hi,

I wanted to give the IPS module a test run, but it is not installable (dependency to Zentyal-core >=5.1).
The Update to Z5.1 is not availiable so this is (atm) useless :-(

Hi @all

I have two Zentyal boxes running, one is patched "up-to-date" and everything is OK (DHCP, DNS, SaMBa, AD), but the other one has update problems :-(

I did manage to update all packages, that are not breaking the mail-functionality.

Missing package are:
Code: [Select]
aptitude upgrade
The following packages will be upgraded:
  cpp-5 gcc-5 gcc-5-base gobjc-5 libasan2 libatomic1 libcc1-0 libcilkrts5 libgcc-5-dev libgfortran3 libgomp1 libitm1 libldb1 liblsan0 libmpx0
  libnss-winbind libobjc-5-dev libobjc4 libpam-winbind libquadmath0 libsbjson2.3 libsope-appserver4.9 libsope-core4.9 libsope-gdl1-4.9 libsope-ldap4.9
  libsope-mime4.9 libsope-xml4.9 libstdc++6 libtdb1 libtsan0 libubsan0 libwbclient0 python-ldb python-samba python-tdb samba samba-common
  samba-common-bin samba-dsdb-modules samba-libs samba-vfs-modules sogo sogo-activesync sope4.9-gdl1-mysql sope4.9-gdl1-postgresql
  sope4.9-libxmlsaxdriver winbind zentyal-samba

When I update some of the samba packages it breaks the ad / LDAP config. There is no connection to the local samba possible, resulting in a not usable mail module.

I can provide needed logs ;-)

Any help is welcome!

Installation and Upgrades / move of DC
« on: November 17, 2015, 04:45:53 pm »
Hello everybody,

did someone of you a "move" of a Zentyal DC?

My XenServer VM with Zentyal (latest release; DC, Mail, OpenChange) became a bit unstable...
Did anyone of you setup a new DC (with Mail, OpenChange) and successfully "copy" all data incl. Mail calendar, adressbook and AD objects?

Any hint is welcome!

Kind regards

Thomas
