I faced the same problem this morning.
sudo apt-get clean and a restart solved it.
Hope it helps others.

As you have access control at a group level, one idea as a workaround is to create a group for the (or each) printer and add users to that group then grant printing access to the group.
Thanks. That worked fine (but I am not satisfied with this solution. I hope it will be corrected soon).

Sorry I was not clear enough. This problem affects all users, I just faced it last week. When I set up last year Zentyal as a printer server everything worked fine. As there was no need to change anything I haven't tried to play with printers. Now I cannot give or refuse access to printers.

PS.
Just noticed.
Interesting that under Groups it works but under Users not. Clicking on the Change button redirects me to a blank page (https://server_ip/ebox/Samba/ActivePrinting).

I can reach the cups web interface. The users can print, so no problem. We have a new colleague and I wanted to give her access to one of our printers with no luck.
Anyway I have changed the NIC in the server last week from 10/100 to 100/1000. Could this cause the problem?

I have the same problem on core version 2.0.20, Printer Sharing 2.0.3.
https://server_name/ebox/Samba/ActivePrinting leads to a blank page.
Does anybody faced this problem?
