My bad, the installation was ok now. i didnt follow the procedure written in the documentation when installing via vmware. thanks by the way..
I have a follow up question, i was looking for some opensource mail server, because the one we are currently using is from godaddy where our website is being hosted, the problem is that each user account is limited only to 20mb and quite slow.
what i want to know are the steps in establishing a mail server, we have 5 available static ip address from our internet provider, can i use these ip the host the mail server? if so? what are the steps?

I just installed zentyal on vmware but after installation it just prompt me to login via cli.
