Installation and Upgrades / Re: Disaster Recovery
« on: September 21, 2011, 10:43:02 am »
Brilliant. I've had the same problem and I've just about lost the will to live.

Last night I finally managed to get duplicity to restore a 20GB backup (this being the 12th attempt BTW) It took me a while because by default it was dumping all the temp files on the 600MB iso rather than /mnt/mytmp like I told it to. other attempts were on Virtual Machines, where half way through the Virtual Machine crashed.. so I dug out a nice Dell Optiplex 320 and started again

Came into the office this morning, see it had worked with no error, getting quite excited by this point, rebooted and errors. "no such device" and "you need to load the kernel first" errors. Thanks!

Installation and Upgrades / Zarafa Web Access Problem
« on: September 07, 2011, 03:23:32 pm »
Whenever we log onto the web access and navigate away from the inbox and then back, the inbox does not show a true reflection of what is in there. For example one users inbox only shows emails in March the other user can only see emails beginning with Z.

When the page is refreshed the inbox goes back to normal but then after a short time the problem happens again.....

I reset the browsers cache and data history with the thinking that a particular search criteria may be affecting the inbox but this didn’t rectify it. I also tried to access some documentation from the Zentyal forum to see if there are any FAQ’s/ blogs about this issue but had no luck.

This is extremely frustrating for the users and whilst it’s not stopping them from working it is hindering massively.

Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED] IMAP on Android Phone
« on: March 23, 2011, 02:57:33 pm »
Hi,

We've got Zentyal setup using the Zarafa group ware and we're able to access the zarafa webmail and can access the IMAP email accounts via Mozilla Thunderbird, but on the Android phones we can't get existing emails to show up.

The Android phones have connected to the server OK, and managed to get a list of folders from the server but existing emails in those folders don't appear.

Has any one else had this problem, or know why this would happen?

Thanks,
Andrew
