Same problem... In 1.4 too.
In Traffic shaper -> Rules,
internal interface,
set port based service -> http (in services),
source -> Any,
destination IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx,
priority ->1,
Guaranteed Rate ->0,
Limited Rate -> 8 Kbit/s.
doesn't work. Checked @ speedtest.net. Download - 4 Mb/s
Where mistake?

Same problem.
Use ebox 1.3
Did everithing how explained here: http://doc.ebox-platform.com/en/qos.html
1. Have no Traffic Shaping -> InterfaceRate (or can't find). When i open Traffic Shaping, i see only Application Protocols and Rules.
2. In Services, I alwais have service called HTTP with TCP protocol @ port 80.
3. Then i did:
Enter Traffic Shaping ‣ Rules. Select the internal interface from the interface list and, using Add new, set a new rule with the following details:
Enabled: Yes
Service: Port-based service / HTTP
Source: any
Destination: any
Priority: 7
Guaranteed rate:
0 Kb/s
Limited rate: 160 Kb/s
Press the Add button.
See Effect: eBox displays a table with the new traffic shaping rule.
BUT
when i check speed @ www.speedtest.net i see Downloading speed ~ 2 MB...
Where mistaked???

Installation and Upgrades / Can't save eth1 settings trough web interface

Hi, all!
I've got a problem with eth1 settings.
Was installed last stable version to clear HDD. In dashboard written v.1.2.3. Insallation was OK.
But when i start to set eth1 from web interface - it doesn't work.
I enter Network->Interfaces->eth1 (right pan). Choose Static IP, wright it, click on Change, after at right corner - Save changes -> Save... See Saving changes.Then -->Changes saved...
Looks OK. But
When i check settings of eth1 - nothing. Only eth0.
Besides of this. If i put it manually to /etc/network/interfaces and try to change any settings of Network menu, after changes in /etc/network/interfaces lost all settings of eth1... Clear...
What i have to do?
