Installation and Upgrades / Re: Cannot access web interface
« on: January 06, 2011, 08:54:37 pm »
Hello everyone,

I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04 x64 and just found out about Zentyal and wanted to give it a try. So i followed the steps in http://trac.zentyal.org/wiki/Document/Documentation/InstallationGuide  and installed without any errors. I specified the port 34567 when asked for a port to listen. But i can't acces the web interface. I tried https://ip, https://ip:34567, http://ip, http://ip:34567. Tried reconfigure, reboot, still doesn't work.

Can you please provide any help?
Thanks!

already try to ip address for internal?
ex:
1. eth0 = for external (to Modem) <= this ip can't be access.
2. eth1 = for internal (to LAN) <= this ip can be reached.

WAN ---> MODEM ADSL 192.168.1.1/24 --> zentyal-box --  eth0 = 192.168.1.254/24 (external ip)
                                                                              |
                                                                              |________  eth1 = 192.168.2.254/24 (internal ip) --> LAN / PC (192.168.2.1/24) for access.

Installation and Upgrades / same problem
« on: January 06, 2011, 02:56:49 pm »
Just after the BIOS hands over to Zentyal 2.0.1 to boot I get two messages on screen, vis:

error: no suitable mode found
error: unknown command 'terminal'

After a pause Zentyal then boots and seems to work normally.

On shutdown Zentyal closes but leaves me with a Linux terminal prompt and messages about squid, which causes shutdown to hang.

Any ideas?

i have same problem, i just downloaded zentyal-2.0-3-i386.iso and make fresh install like http://doc.zentyal.org/en/installation.html#id10 tutorial (just for gateway packet) and the zentyal show message:

1. error: no suitable mode found
2. error: unknown command 'terminal'

and normally works, but on shutdown, the computer become hang / blank screen (but no showing terminal at  all, just blank black screen) without halt. ?

any idea?
