« on: March 06, 2014, 11:43:40 am »So is upgrading to 3.2 likely to fix the issue?I use the 3.2, so this is problem with the 3.2 too. Today the samba updated as described in the bug report, so maybe the problem doesn't appear anymore after the update.

I have similar problems.
Most of the times only the user's home folder is inaccessible. Restarting File Sharing solve the problem.
Sometimes the other shares inaccessible. In this case I have to restart the DNS Service.
I have this problem over 2 months. The problems appear randomly, but it seems like I have less problem over time. I don't know why.
The strange thing is that the problem appears only on Windows 8 and 8.1 machines. Windows XP and 7 users doesn't notice any problem.
It looks like this is a samba error: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10415
It is filed in the zentyal bug tracker too: https://tracker.zentyal.org/issues/243

Magyar / Re: hibás csomag telepítés eltávolítás
« on: November 13, 2013, 08:39:09 am »

« on: February 21, 2013, 01:27:06 pm »

Azért mindenképp megpróbálnám a dist-upgradet.
Nekem frissítette a sambát a sima upgrade után.

Magyar / Re: GPO nem működik
« on: February 05, 2013, 10:18:28 am »
Edit:
Olvastam, hogy fel kell tenni ezt: Group Policy Preference Client Side Extensions for Windows XP (KB943729)
Kipróbálom, hátha működik.
Edit2:
A client side extensionnel működik xp alatt is.
Most minden tökéletes.
Köszönöm a segítséget.

Azzal a felhaszálóval léptetem be a gépeket a tartományba.
A többi ami eszembe jutott, már julio leírta.

Magyar / [SOLVED] GPO nem működik
« on: January 30, 2013, 11:36:42 am »
Elvileg minden jól van beállítva, a felhasználók be tudnak lépni, saját megosztásaik felcsatolódnak, a felhasználók tudják tallózni a szerveren lévő sysvol mappát.
Azonban bármit állítok a GPO-ban, semmi hatása nincs a felhasználókra.

Installation and Upgrades / Bandwidth Monitor on Virtual Interface doesn't work
« on: January 21, 2013, 11:45:30 am »
Hi,
I have the following network setup:
eth1's real subnet is the "corporate" network.
eth1's virtual subnet is the public wifi for customers.
I have set up Bandwidth Throttling Rules for the wifi with the following parameters:
I have the following Traffic Shaping Rules for internal interfaces:
The problem is that the internet access is slow down over time.
The System load is constantly about 0,20.
Packet loss test can't run on pingtest.net. It says that either I don't have Java installed or my Firewall block access to 5060 and/or 8080 TCP/ UDP Port. edit: now the test run and says packet loss 0%. (I haven't do anything )
Firewall and IDS log doesn't show anything.
It would be good to see that how customers use the wifi, but I can't see the hosts connected to the Virtual interface in Bandwidth Monitor.
edit2:
I have the following lines repeated almost infinitaley in proxy log:
If I remove the Virtual interface, then add it again, the system looks OK, but later the whole thing starts over.
Now I try to configure firewall/proxy to drop packets from 192.168.1.1.
I have the following network setup:
Quote
eth0: PPPoE (WAN)
eth1: static 192.168.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
eth1 Virtual: 10.1.1.1 netmask 255.255.255.0
eth1's real subnet is the "corporate" network.
eth1's virtual subnet is the public wifi for customers.
I have set up Bandwidth Throttling Rules for the wifi with the following parameters:
Quote
Network object: wifi
Maximum unlimited size: 5 MB
Maximum download rate: 640 KB/s
Maximum unlimited size per client and Maximum download rate per client Unlimited.
I have the following Traffic Shaping Rules for internal interfaces:
Quote
Interface: eth1I have one with the opposite direction too.
Service: P2P
Source: Any
Destination: wifi
Priority: 7
Guaranteed Rate: 0 Kbit/s
Limited Rate: 512 Kbit/s
The problem is that the internet access is slow down over time.
The System load is constantly about 0,20.
Firewall and IDS log doesn't show anything.
