Title: Setup and configuration Opendkim
Post by: beloge2002 on December 31, 2014, 11:46:28 am
Hi all,
I have already finished to install and configure opendkim for our mail server running on zentyal and when I start the module I got this error in my logs:
opendkim filter unable to bind to port 12301@localhost permission denied
There is no other opendkim process which is running and the port is not in use by other program.
Could you help me to figure out the problem?

Thank you in advance.

Under what account is opendkim running? Did you create a rule that allows opendkim to use that port?

I don't know what opendkim exactly is, be sure you set the rule for the right 'direction' (from external to Zentyal or internal to Zentyal)
If there is another device between Zentyal and your internet connection, don't forget to forward the port on every device between internet and your LAN to Zentyal.

Opendkim is a module use to authenticate domain au sender of the email.
I am trying to install it on my email server in localhost and I get that error when I start the module.
