Sure thing! (even if it isn't recommended)

From a terminal:

sudo apt-get install phpldapadmin
With that said, I would suggest to use a desktop software like pgAdmin III instead of having a web based application.

Ŧo install it on an Ubuntu desktop:
From a terminal:

sudo apt-get install pgadmin3
From an APT URL (simply click on the following link - it will automatically fire up the Software Center):
apt://pgadmin3

Hello ndgamer,

The current firewall is IPTables.  IPTables is mostly doing routing.  Turning it off will disable the routing.

So, in short, you should open it and not turning it off...

Hello,

Small update (for Zentyal 3.0)

* Comment out SSLCertificateFile line in the file
   /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/webserver/vhost.mas

It is now /usr/share/zentyal/stubs/webserver/vhostHttps.mas (for the webserver module).

Nota Bene;
It would be better to copy the vhostHttps.mas file to /etc/zentyal/stubs/webserver folder first and then modifying it (at the new location) but it doesn't seem to work right now...

[Mon Dec 10 22:48:02 2012] [error] server reached MaxClients setting, consider raising the MaxClients setting

Cela peut être ajusté dans le fichier "/etc/apache2/apache2.conf".  Reste du fait que ce n'est aucunement relié au soucis.  Il s'agit ici du serveur "Apache" en non de "Squid" (Squid étant le serveur/démon utilisé pour le proxy).

Mais bon, de toute évidence ces logs sont peut loquaces.  Il est quelque peut difficile d'établir la raison du problème...  (en d'autre mots, je sèche complètement)

Que dit les journaux dans le répertoire "/var/log/squid3"?

Le manque d'espace peut occasionner un problème au niveau du proxy.

Afin de vérifier rapidement l'espace disque (depuis le shell):

Que dit les logs de Zentyal (depuis le shell) ?

tail -n50 -f /var/log/zentyal/error.log

!! Afin de bien voir les messages d'erreurs, laisse le shell ouvert et reproduisez ledit problème via ton navigateur.  Le tail va afficher les lignes supplémentaires qui seront ajoutées au fichier !!

Installation and Upgrades / Deleting module doesn't clean up nor remove old configurations

Hello,

Zentyal: v3.0 (up to date)

I installed the webserver module on a newly installed host.

The problems came after removing the webserver module (along with Zarafa).

I noticed that I wasn't able to forward ports (80 and 443) to a NATed host.  then I noticed that the SSL was also still installed.

So, first of, I tried to remove the SSL and failed... (keeping in mind that the modules got removed)
Same for Zarafa (that was also installed then removed)

Further investigation on the problem showed that all the regular files along with the configurations of the vhosts previously configured were still there.

Anyways, my question is;
How can I remove the rules and configurations of IPTables, SSL and Apache without beeing force to reinstall those modules and put bogus configurations ?

e.g.
For port redirection of port 80 & 443;
I had to reinstall the webserver and configure the listening ports to 8899 (initialy port 80) and 4433 (initialy port 443).

Wild guess;
I'll have to dump Zarafa MySQL database manually

** This is only for educational purpose - the server will get wiped out tomorow morning **

IMO, those files and configurations should be completly purged once the module  is removed.  If I recall it right, the trash left behind an uninstall was already talked about.  I've notice some improvement but there is still much work pending in order to get things clean and tidy.

Bonjour legthi,

Il n'y a malheureusement aucune route simple pour passer de eBox @ Zentyal.  Il y a trop de différences majeures entre ces versions...

Je dirais même que si ma mémoire est bonne, la MaJ de eBox v1.2 @ eBox v1.4 était douteuse.

Bref, ma recommandation, tout comme celle de christian, serait d'effectuer la migration au grand complet en manuel.

- Recréation des services et utilisateurs sur un second serveur
- Transfer manuel du "home" ((g)rsync serait bien approprié)

Et pour répondre à ta question;

Il te faut faire un "do-release-upgrade" (ce que je ne recommande aucunement de faire).

eBox v1.x tourne sous Ubuntu 8.04
Zentyal v2.x tourne sous Ubuntu 10.04
Zentyal v3.x tourne sous Ubuntu 12.04

N'hésite pas si il y a autre chose.
