Hello,
i have daily crashes and dont know why on my ebox 1.4.2 ?!
First, i thought it would be a time problem (ntp), but /var/log/syslog doesn't tell anything exactly so i deleted ntp.drift and tried again.
Now, i have this last messages in syslog:
At 14 clock starts my backup-session for about 10 - 20 minutes.
Maybe thats the reason or ebox-usersandgroups/slave-sync ?

Mhm, how about testing in a VM so far?
Release of 2.0 should be in July, what i know, so it depends on how much time you will have left.
Surely there will be an upgradePath from 1.4 to 2.0, but who knows about the teething troubles ;-)

Sorry, but getting still the same errors.
Tried to delete ntp.drift and stopped/restarted collectd. No success.
So i decieded to deactivate collectd in the init-Prozess, so far.
Any ideas?

Maybe it would be usefull to test ebox first(on another machine/vm)
You say that you have an office and so a server downtime will cost you money. Better first to check/test and then to migrate. My opinion.
Beside that, Thin clients need power too. At the serverside. How about that in your constellation?

Have this problem with OpenOffice 3.2, Kubuntu lucid, ebox 1.4.2, KDE 4.4.5
It is definitly an OpenOffice problem because with a simple .txt it works.

Iam sorry, but it seems that it was a problem with my local Browser/Firefox/NoScript (don't know why that, but...)
Tried it with Konqueror and got no error then.
Another PC with Firefox has no error too. Weird!
Please, put it as SOLVED

It was a Firefox issue:
about:config
network.http.sendRefererHeader value 0 --> Standard/default is 2
changed it and bingo.

The last changes i made, were eGroupware (calendar and addressbook) testing with Kontact frontend and after that samba configuration (shares and users).
The errormessage is shown on different actions, even at the shutdownmenu.
Is there an easy way to save my changes and then restart again, with a new installation of ebox or maybe ebox 2.0?
