Note that the KDE PIM suite requires GroupDAV, which is not provided by Zarafa

I chose ebox/zentyal because of egroupware and KDE Kontact. So, for me it is quite essential to have a solution which has the possibility to connect Kontact and Groupware together.

The main points for me are: Kalendar and Adressbook

Updated samba like you described it, but no success.

When i try to open an openoffice file, there is no chance to save the changes back to the samba share. OpenOffice generates a new temp-file for the changes.

When you use ebox 1.4, you should have the following picture (beside the german language)



By hand you can make a target directory with:

mkdir <dirname>

In my example it is: /home/<space>/ebackups

Mhm, to keep things clear.

A stable 2.0 is the highest aim, but i was not very happy about the communication!


So, i hope that information will come clearer in future.

Instead of /dev/sdb1 you can use the UUID from /dev/sdb1

okay. Check that with:

mountthere should be an entry like /dev/sdb1 on xxxx

and then go to /mnt/backup

cd /mnt/backup

Are there your files from /dev/sdb1?

Ah, and you can find out your UUID with:

ls /dev/disk/by-uuid -al
