Installation and Upgrades / Re: Zarafa - ebox

I chose ebox/zentyal because of egroupware and KDE Kontact. So, for me it is quite essential to have a solution which has the possibility to connect Kontact and Groupware together.
The main points for me are: Kalendar and Adressbook

Installation and Upgrades / Re: ebox 1.4 samba 3.4.6 read/write problems on shares
« on: August 11, 2010, 07:48:35 am »
@J. A. Calvo:
Updated samba like you described it, but no success.
When i try to open an openoffice file, there is no chance to save the changes back to the samba share. OpenOffice generates a new temp-file for the changes.

Mhm, to keep things clear.
A stable 2.0 is the highest aim, but i was not very happy about the communication!
So, i hope that information will come clearer in future.

YES.
Instead of /dev/sdb1 you can use the UUID from /dev/sdb1

okay. Check that with:
and then go to /mnt/backup
Are there your files from /dev/sdb1?
Ah, and you can find out your UUID with:
Code: [Select]
mount
there should be an entry like /dev/sdb1 on xxxxand then go to /mnt/backup
