I have the same problem, but i have around 80 users, 10 groups, 10 shares, and 10 printers configured. A complete reinstall is gonna set me back days....
are there any other solutions to this issue?

ah-ha i hadn't figured that it was a chron job.
Though if automatic updates isn't turned on, surely the chron won't run anyway?
It would make sense to me if the apt-get updates would run when you view that page, or at least if there's a button to force apt-get

I did a clean install of 1.3.15 from the .iso
If I look in the dashboard under General Information it shows version as 1.3.13

If you do not choose the slave/master/AD option during install, ebox will automatically assume the master role, not only that, but the 'mode' option does not appear in the menu, so you can't change your mind... This means that "once a master, always a master"...

just found some weird behaviour in software management.
A fresh install from the 1.3.15 iso gave me pre-enabled software management.
When i looked at software management > ebox-components, there are no green download buttons in the right column.
However, if i DISABLE software management module, not only is the software management section still available, but it also gives me the green download buttons.
This suggests that the checkbox in Module Status is toggling in reverse!!
A fresh install from the 1.3.15 iso gave me pre-enabled software management.

by my undrestanding of the general concept of master/slave, all the users get replicated from the master -> slave.
replication shouldn't occur both ways, as that would no longer be master/slave.
sounds like you're assuming master/slave to work like PDC/BDC in Windows servers, but i'm not sure it does

that was using 1.3.10, haven't tried with 1.3.15 yet, other issues to resolve first
