Installation and Upgrades / Samba settings in 1.5: need to have a share with $ sign
« on: August 03, 2010, 01:30:48 am »
First a little bug (?):
I noticed that ebox-internal-backups samba share is inaccessible, because path /var/lib/ebox/conf//backups leads to folder that does not exist. Maybe this is by design, i don't know, but it looks weird.
And i need to have a few shares with a dollar sign ($) at the end of name.
Web UI doesn't allow me to do that:
Where i can fix that limitation?
And also i was really surprised when webui forced me to have comments to all my shares. I'll be really happy to get rid of this.
Thanks beforehand

The input contains invalid characters. All alphanumeric characters, plus these non alphanumeric chars: /.?&+:-@ and spaces are allowed.Btw, nice joke about "/" and ":" in folder names

Installation and Upgrades / How do i get Monitor working?
« on: August 02, 2010, 10:46:26 pm »
Fresh Ebox 1.5 install
(In fact i've just reinstalled system just to see if i broke something related to monitoring)
'Monitor' section displays a message:
Before 1.5 install i tried 1.4 distro and if i remember correctly everything was working there.
I see collectd daemon is active in the 'top' output.
Any ideas?

You must save the changes in module status to see monitor graphs in the Save changes section. In case it is already enabled you must wait for a few seconds to collect the first monitor data'Save configuration' section:

There are no unsaved changes.
