Installation and Upgrades / Re: Do conf files still reset after updtes?

Thanks, sorry I do try and look at the search first although last time there was still this issue so I didn't try looking again this time around.  Thanks for the link I'll thoroughly look into this much appreciated.

I haven't tested zentyal in a while, but last time I tried using it every time you made a change to zentyal it reset the conf files on the system like samba/postfix and didn't allow you to make your own changes.  This can be quite problematic for us and I was wondering if this was still the same or have they allowed you to keep your own settings now?

jslamero I don't see any templates in /etc/ebox there isn't even a stubs folder.

bbking

Further looking at that section it does ask to enable ssl but I looked at the certs it's looking for but they aren't named that I'm guessing I need to re-name the config to the certs that are in there along with making the client folder to allow that?

Also I tried enabling that and restarting zarafa-server service but it still wasn't listening on port 237 after doing lsof -i:237 nothing showed up, any ideas?

The port is enabled but the port is not doing anything as the service is not enabled.  I need to enable the service so that they can use https.  Is this more of a zarafa thing in which case should I post on their forum or is this more related to zentyal?

Installation and Upgrades / Zarafa https outlook connector

So were building a new server now with Zentyal 2.4 and it all seems to go well so far *touch wood*.  However we just got the outlook connector to work with http but would like to get the https service to be up and running using port 237 instead of 236.  Has anyone ever done the https outlook connector before and can give some tips on how to enable this?

Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED]Zarafa outlook connector
« on: August 08, 2011, 04:20:25 pm »
Hello,
Our company is trying out zentyal and were trying to see if the outlook connector for zarafa works so that we could possibly start deploying a full version of it.

However we have an issue...

We got zarafa set up i.e. we got webmail access (looks amazing btw)  but when installing the outlook connector it can't contact the server.

Port 236 is open on the server I did lsof -i:236 it's listening on that port.  I've also added 236 tcp to the firewall & external fire wall exception on the zentyal server however it doesn't connect  via telnet when I try and test the port.  IT also doesn't even work when connected to openvpn it simply say's access is denied through my ubuntu client or on the windows client cannot find server.

If anyone has had issues like this before that can help I'd greatly appreciate it.
