Installation and Upgrades / L7 & Traffic Shapping for p2p causes all internet to crawl.

Every time I enable L7 and Traffic Shaping modules the Internet begins to slow down. When I try to limit p2p applications to 1Kbit/s the rest of the Internet begins to slow down as-well; not as much but enough that eventually SSL websites time out completely or become unreachable.
I currently have eBox_1.5 setup as a gateway and transparent proxy with adzapper. It seems to be some sort of conflict with in the module; but that is just my guess. Let me know what you need to know in order to help me. We are in a bandwidth critical area and so we need to prevent bandwidth hogs like p2p. This server will be in production use in two days.

I used your tweak; works like a charm thanks! Plus I agree this should be a check box option.
