Hi,
Is it possible in Zentyal 3 to make the first Administrator account a member of the ldap-groups to make it possible to use samba-shares?
And how can I accomplish this

Hi,
I'm testing Zarafa, and try to connect with my cellphone using Mail for Exchange.
When I try to connect (in a browser on a computer) to https://your-server-ip/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync, I'm asked to login with my credentials. When I do so a blank screen appears. What is going wrong?

Hi,
I'm trying to synchronize my zarafa mail (and later also the calendar) to a Nokia E52 (mail for exchange), but I get a little confused.
What is the correct Servername to enter in my phone?
Is it: https://myserverip/webaccess-mobile , or is it:
https://myserverip/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync ?
I can't find it in the documentation.
Is there anyone who knows who to make this work?

Hi,
Marcus published a work around for sending mail from Zarafa with a alias.

Now I want to sent mail from Zarafa using the alias address all the time without making any selection.
Is this possible?
I want to send as the alias mail-address always(it is an external address), and I don't want to select the From field all the time.
Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks for the manual!
This almost does the trick for me, but not totally.
I want to send as the alias mail-address always(it is an external address), and I don't want to select the From field all the time.

I want to setup secure access to zarafa. Is there a easy way to make this work?
I want to be able to connect to https://mydomain.eu/webaccess only, and delete the entry to http://mydomain.eu/webaccess.

Hello,
I have a question about mail in zentyal.
I have a virtual mail domain like hallo.eu.
When I use a mail account from Thunderbird or roundcube webmail, I set the identity to a mailaddress on my EXTERNALl domain like me@company.org.
So far so good.
But.......
Now I'm trying to setup Zarafa to use the same settings, but when I'm sending a email the Recipient address is me@hallo.eu, and I want to sent mail as me@company.org.
Any suggestions?
Is it also possible to use the same imap mailbox with roundcube AND zarafa?

On my Zentyal server I have made a virtual mail domain also called:example.com.
When I try to receive and send mail, this goes well. Exept when I want to send mail to a emailaddress not hosted on my virtual domain. For example when I want to send a mail to ed@example.com, which is not a (internal) user in my zentyal server .
Ive tried to make another virtual domain eagle.eu, but when I send a message with zarafa webaccess then the receiver gets a mail from me@eagle.eu and not from me@example.com.
How can I solve this?

Do you mean the first monday of the month, or next monday? Can I change a script so both weekly as monthly can start on the same day?

I am planning to make a monthly full backup, and a weekly incremantal backup, but I want to know on what day the backup starts. Is there anybody who knows this, or who knows how to manipulate this?

Hi,
I like to make a backup to the usb-disk connected to my ebox, using Rsync, but I can't find any documentation. Does anyone know how to do this.
I like to make with Rsync once a month a full-backup, and daily a incremental backup.
There is a nice new screen in the webinterface, but i don't know how i can backup to my local usb-harddisk mounted to /mnt/backup. I also miss a button to start now, or otherwise a setting to select minutes.

Is there anyone who has a usb printer working in ebox?
I have a HP officejet 4215, /dev/usb/lp0, so I configured it as usb0 in the Edox webinterface,
but i haven't seen a printed paper yet.
Is there anyone who knows what to do?
