The current zentyal 4 version has focused on the SMB office server but the core services could be expanded to provide a complete home server version which addresses the privacy issues associated with uploading your digital life to the likes of google/microsoft/nsa.

- private email using zentyal4.0 samba/openchange
- private cloud using pydio with user authentication against samba ad
- private webserver/social network using joomla with user authentication against samba ad
- private storage service for devices on internal network
- media server for devices on internal network
- squid/tor/privoxy browsing module for 'anonymous' browsing
