Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED] Zentyal server taking ages to load after uploading blacklist!

Hi,

I have uploaded a blacklist to the Zentyal server from Dansguardian website and have chosen which categories to be blacklisted. After connecting the client machine to test, my hard disk is going through a hard time! The led is always on which means that it is loading something but its been already 30 mins :S. Did someone experience this too please? Thanks

Hi,

I have enabled the antivirus module, but when I visit the EICAR website and try to download one of the virus test files, the antivirus does not block the file. Why is this so please? I have enabled the antivirus module, enabled it in SAMBA and also in the filter profiles but it does not seem to work :S. Thanks

I wish to monitor users when they are browsing the Internet, i.e, know exactly where they have been, at what time etc... How can I do this please? Which module do I need to install? Thank you

Installation and Upgrades / [SOLVED] Unknown: Firewall Squid

Hi all,

I am receiving the following error when trying to make access rules:

The following modules failed while saving their changes, their state is unknown: firewall squid.

When I restart the server (using vmware for testing at the moment), the access rules will be applied without any problems, but obviously I don't want to restart my server every time I need to make a change.

Can someone kindly tell me what the problem might be please? Thanks

NB: If I need to provide an error log, kindly tell me about it thanks
