Wow - never heard of Citadel before! Looks interesting!
For me, sync of addressbook is the number one priority. Then calendar. Including sync with handheld devices. Then comes a wiki and some other collaboration tools.
At the bottom comes mail!

A couple of questions:
Did you try to set this up on a plain Ubuntu Server 10.04 with no VM's and no Zentyal?
Have you tried to disable networking in Zentyal and then set up pppoe manually?

We need one more thing from you: The version of eBox/Zentyal you are using.
As the different version uses very different versions of Ubuntu, the solution might depend on what you are running.

That is great news! As this is a communityforum and we all help each other, could you tell us what you did to fix it? Also, adding a little bit more information about versions of software etc. also helps others in the future to know what version your solution worked for.
A last thing - could you please modify the subject of the first post in this thread and add [SOLVED] at the beginning of the subject? Makes it a lot easier when people search for solutions to problems.
