Post by: Project on September 08, 2012, 05:12:50 pm
Hey Guys,

Is there a way to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 rc2 ?
Can i add the sources and keys from 2.3 and do a dist upgrade ? Or do i still need to wait for a script ?
If so is there a script ?

Best Regards

I'm afraid you'll have to wait. Also, although we'll try to do our best, probably not all the modules will be migrated automatically, some of them have changed a lot (HTTP Proxy for example) and will require some manual configuration...

Isn't there any option ?

Do a clean install , restore users configuration and zarafa storages ? and then reconfigure the rest ?
How long will version 2.2 be supported , i could stay with it since server 10.04 is still supported till 2015

regards Project

Currently there is no option, but there will, you just need to wait a few weeks. Zentyal 2.2 will be supported during 3 years after its release, that should be until September 2014.
