Title: How to add 2nd email and domain to Zentyal 6.2
Post by: dmcgurn on February 01, 2021, 03:55:06 pm
Thank you in Advance,
I am sure this has been explained before. I am a noobie and just dangerous enough to break what I have working.
I am using Zentyal 6.2 with my company domain.  blairleigh.com
It is working fine. I want to add a 2nd domain and for a side business that I have.
Is there a Step-by-Step guide or can someone explain to me in very simple directions on how to set it up as a seperate domain etc.
I have tried copying the same settings as I have for blairleigh.com and can send but not receive in Thunderbird.
I am using ProxMox mail gateway as a VM and have Zentyal setup as a seperate VM in ProxMox as well.
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Don

Zentyal doesn't manage trusted relationships between domains, so, you'll have to configure ir manually. Here you have a document explaining this topic https://www.kania-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/trusts-tutorial-en.pdf (https://www.kania-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2019/06/trusts-tutorial-en.pdf) (Bear in mind that I haven't tested it but it seems to be really useful)

Cheers!

Not interested in trusted domains. just want to have a separate email domain on same server.

Oh!... This task is easy. Go to the Mail module configuration and add a new virtual domain. Zentyal will give you the option of choosing between the configured virtual domains when setting a new account. You'll be able of modifying the existing accounts too and adding new addresses in the new virtual domains.
