[SOLVED] Can I disable/remove Web Server module?
« on: March 04, 2012, 05:03:32 am »
Can I disable/remove the Web Server module and still have Zentyal's web admin work properly? I want/need to manage my apache sites manually (e.g. I don't want Zentyal components binding/listening to port 80).

just remove it under components, or change the default port to something else, or disable the module, OR change the behavior via stubs.

:) what a choices ! :)

you can set yours websites to another (http) port ?! e.g. Ports for Internet Services: http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/~rakerman/port-table.html

pls, take a look to: https://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/en/vhosts/ (and parent)

Ahoi
Michael (majestyx) pls, applaud if I could help ;)

Thanks. I'll disable the module. I prefer that to changing the ports on the Zentyal configured apache sites, or mine.

So now I'll have Zentyal running the Gateway, UTM, and other Infrastructure modules while I use ISPConfig or Webmin to continue doing advanced configurations for my web server.
