I know it doesn't solve your issue (I'm not using bandwidth monitor thus can't help) but I would like to make one general comment:
"this is very important" and "community edition" do not go well together.
With forum based support, you will only get help from members either having solved similar issue or having an idea on how to perhaps solve it.
If you have SLO (service level objective) with your company or customers, therefore resulting in important or critical impact, then you should rather go for "enterprise edition". At least this is Zentyal current business model
You're not the only one but I notice more and more forum users pushing to get problem solving via forum for time critical matter
