Change the Administration port or host
« on: April 11, 2009, 03:43:14 pm »
How I can change the port of the administration port or make the UI opens only for one host.
I want to be able to open the different VHosts with SSL

Hi Vlados,

I'd suggest you to use another Apache instance different from the one which stores eBox to serve Web pages in an eBox host. You may change the administration port through System --> General. I also recommend you to use a certificate for the vhosts whose common name is *.domain.com.

You mean to install another Apache Server for the sites who will use SSL?
Isn't better to change the ebox configuration to listen on both ports - 80 & 443 and if is 443 to use the sertificate with cn=*.domain.com?

Yes. Don't think so unless you have not much memory in your host machine.
