Is the init.d/networking restart thing sorted as the repetive reboots are a bit of a pain.

Going to download those modules and report back today

root@zenweb2:~# /etc/init.d/networking restart
 * Running /etc/init.d/networking restart is deprecated because it may not enable again some interfaces

Rather than invoking init scripts through /etc/init.d, use the service(8)
utility, e.g. service smbd reload

Since the script you are attempting to invoke has been converted to an
Upstart job, you may also use the reload(8) utility, e.g. reload smbd

There is still a problem with the dns module enabled.

If I add a virtual domain via the web module alllinux.co.uk I automatically get a DNS entry of co.uk with a hostname of alllinux

This then causes major problems with anything ending .co.uk

The only thing I am puzzled by is the webadmin dashboard says there are updates.

With no software centre I am doing it manually apt-get update apt-get upgrade but still cant seem to find what the updates are or remove them to zero ?

Also it says these packages have been held back which I haven't seen before
linux-headers-server linux-image-server linux-server

Have I missed where I can select which users have ftp access?

with straight ftp unsecure I get 500 OOPS: vsftpd: refusing to run with writable root inside chroot()

In the system updates I seem to get a duplication of each update required.
