TFTP with existing image
« on: January 25, 2013, 07:08:17 pm »
Greetings All,

I am new to Zentyal and must say that I really like what I have seen thus far. Great work.

Currently, I have an existing boot image and nfs directory that was set up on another system and which I want to serve out to DHCP clients from Zentyal.

I enabled the Zentyal "Thin Client" and did an scp of my images from the old machine to the /var/lib/tftpboot directory as well as bringing in my nfsroot directory structure for the "fat" clients as their root directory, but it seems that Zentyal is not serving the tftpboot images to the clients for some reason.

Is there a log or something within Zentyal that I can see if it is even receiving the dhcp request from the client machine or do I have to do that in a shell?

Perhaps I missed some settings in Zentyal in trying to get the DHCP services to work.

Cheers and have a great day,
Lonnie
