Hi there,

for same LAN internal, automated servers, I would like to allow to send mails via my Zentyal server. However, on the docs in find:

http://doc.zentyal.org/en/mail.html#general-configuration

But the described options,
TLS for SMTP server and  Require authentication
are not visible when clicking to Mail -> General -> Mail server options

All I see is just the picture starting from Smarthost to send mail to

Did I miss something???

Thanks
Thorsten

Hello Thorsten,

have a look here: http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php/topicna,8421.msg34800.html, These picture in the docs is outdated (taken from zentyal 2.0). For authentication to the SMTP server you have to use the users mailaddress username@domain.com and password;)

Greetings Kai

To complete kg66 info, the old options are now always active. So authentication for SMTP is always enabled.
