-I have an existing local dns in Zenyal, office.mycompany.com
-I created a virtual host, backup.office.mycompany.com

This happens....

Virtual host backup.office.mycompany.com added. A domain mycompany.com has been created with the mapping name backup.office - IP address 192.168.2.200.

This is WRONG.
Please add to Trac...............

There are a lot of happy users that have deployed Zentyal in production, so I think the answer to your first question is yes :)

Anyway, we'll have a look at your issue, thanks for reporting it.

Me also, generally, happy. And yes production. (Thankfully not huge user base though!!)

But I feel like I'm finding issues faster than they can be fixed.

Like somehow I could help more if I was working with you gentlemen as a QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer. I'll change my post title to something more appropriate. :P
