KVM cant setup a VM (Core 2.2.3)

hola,

I will setup a new VM on Zentyal. i have a image. (IMG) file on the Zentyal machine (core 2.2.3).

If i give the path to the IMG - Zentyal don't work whit this. But, if i "setup" a new (virtual) HD - zentyal found the IMG file?! (is this a Bug or a Feature?)   

After the setup i will/must save the new settings in Zentyal, but Zentyal tells:

Einige Module meldeten ein Fehler beim Sichern der Änderungen. Weitere Informationen finden Sie in den Logs in /var/log/zentyal/

element mac gibt es nicht

My Translate: some modules take a error "element mac" does'nt exist.

After my search over the Zentyal forum i found this topic

Nice, i can also write a XML file for my VM
(The folder: /var/lib/libvirt/images/ was empty at the moment. is this the right place?)

Or any other Solution?!

Please try the following: go to the network settings of your virtual machine, delete the network interfaces and add them again (without changing anything)

To clarify a bit, my above answer was intended for solving the "element mac not found" error, I don't understand your problem with the IMG path, it works for me.. maybe the img is in a format different than qcow2 ?

sorry for my late answer. the usability of this forum was not "the best" - i have problems to found my "older" posts. (or a overview of all posts in this forum) . the VM starts, but only whit NAT - not whit (only) Local Area network. the zentyal GUI show my a link to trac, i fill up
