How to extend bwmonitor time span

I need to know which computers on my network consume the most internet bandwidth.

The bandwidth monitor module seems a good fit for this, but only shows the last hour.

How can I collect traffic data over 24 hours or more?

Better yet, how can I use the data collected to generate graphs?
