Jsut enabled Zarafa Account on that user, I can use that user name login into Zarafa, is it can't use virtual domain to login?

Thanks !

To login in Zarafa webaccess you have to use the username without the @domain.tld part.

I am in a similar situation.
How did you enable Zarafa on a particular username?

Jsut enabled Zarafa Account on that user, I can use that user name login into Zarafa, is it can't use virtual domain to login?

Thanks !

In the zarafa settings you select the domain. Usually the main Zentyal domain.
Then in the user settings which will default to the main zentyal domain. You can select the mail domain and if this is a zarafa member & quota.

The user must be of the same domain as zarafa is set to. Also you just put %username% and password to logon.
Roundcube can logon onto virtual domains and that is why when you logon you %username% & FQDN

So say we had a domain called zentyal.com and it is the main domain.
the zarafa login would be username / password
roundcube virtual domain would be username@zentyal.com / password

Mmm... it still does not work.

I am attaching a sample of my user screen, where you can see that there is no Zarafa option.

Thanks again for your time and help.

Ok going back to basics.
In Software Management have you enabled the groupware option?
Then is it enabled in the module status?

Thank you!
That was the missing part!
It is finally working!

BTW I have noticed that Roundcube can send messages out of the server,
Zarafa can´t any idea, where I could check?

erm you have me stumped on this one as I thought the send mail part was shared by zarafa and roundcube.

aka dovecot & postfix.

anyone else? !!!

So if you log on to roundcube with your zarafa credentials you can but you will get no emails as they are stored in the zarafa store.
Send yourself an email & an external address that you know is dns & mx error free.

What happens then ?

As if roundcube is sending then shouldn't zarafa?

Unless its a port thing but I don't remember any probs there with my installations.

Also if your stuck with any item have a look at  /var/log/  and its logs galore in there and can tell you much.

I use winscp for server browsing and file transfers and PuTTY for remote console due using win clients and them being free excellent downloads. Open port 22 though

Yes this is shared  :)
Not Dovecot (which is the POP/IMAP server, therefore used to get access to mailbox, not to send) but Postfix.
Definitely something to investigate in /var/log, I agree.
Reasons could be restriction with mail relaying due to multiple domains sharing same Postfix while "open relay" is hopefully not permitted.

It seems it was my fault.
It is working OK now.

Now I will proceed with the next step in my trial: installing the newest 2.2 version in a RAID1 setup.

Now that you have fixed the issue, you could perhaps explain what you did as it could help others facing similar issue  ;)
