site-to-site VPN tunnel between eBox versions

I have a few eBox machines deployed at various locations and I was wondering if I should expect an eBox 1.4 machine to be able to tunnel to a machine running 2.0.

I have some 1.4::1.4 tunnels working fine but not 1.4::2.0. I have not tried connecting from 2.0 to 1.4 as VPN server (but if I get a chance I will update here).

In the case I am currently investigating both sites are using ebox as a gateway.

I have not been able to do that either. Do have  sample config on how to set it up with two of the same versions? I have two sites that I need to connect via vpn but also want to able to authenticate to one domain controller at the Head Quarters. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated..
