Community edition update content filter
« on: September 13, 2011, 02:26:20 pm »
Installing community edition there is the possibility to update (every week) the content filter database or it's necessary to buy professional service?

Thanks to all!

I don't think it's part of Zentyal offer.
Commercial service is one solution but you could also search for alternative approach.

Some years ago, having to work on similar project, I configured SquidGuard update based on repository maintained by university in Toulouse. Same may exist somewhere in Italy. Let us know if you find something.

Perhaps something here:

What is difficult with your question is not the update script but the fact that you want:
- black list in Italian
- for free  :P

there is a way...

if you can somehow use the addblocker scripts from firefox  (mostly in regex format)...   you could pobably  convert those into  squid filer scripts...

ive seend addblock PLUS  scripts in nearly all languages i know..  so it might be work a shot?
