Sender Based Routing [RESOLVED]
« on: December 15, 2011, 07:33:47 pm »
Hi Everybody,

I'm a newbie using Xentyal. I have a requirement wherein I'm supposed to use Sender Based Routing feature.
I have one lease line with a Public ip address and one DSL line with dynamic ip address.

The requirement is to route all emails from domain abc.com through the lease line. The other domain mails has to be sent through the DSL line.

Thank you very much, as this will of great help if it can be implemented.

Note: Please have a look at the design diagram attached along with this post.

The issue is that I use several domains for email marketing and these domains are used for maximum 1 month. I have my company domain for which the emails has to be handled only over the lease line, so that the static public ip doesn't get blacklisted. Although I can afford to get my dsl ip address (dynamic ip address) blacklisted.

Ah... I do not feel comfortable helping you to generate more spam, assuming I understand well what you intend to do  :o
I mean having Zentyal identified as powerful spam machine is not exactly what I'm dreaming about, even if you call it "marketing".... resulting for sure some blacklisting.

This was meant for a client who isn't a techie, that's where Zentyal comes in.

Anyhow after modifying the main.cf things started to work as expected and I'll just deliver the same configuration to them  ;)

Ohh forgot to mention...

The configurations gets reseted :( For that I've written a small script to validate the change and revert it.
