Zentyal and LTSP
« on: January 25, 2011, 09:52:39 pm »
I would like to install Zentyal on an LTSP server. Is it possible to use all features Zentyal offers (including firewall and proxy) with the LTSP on the same machine?

On the machine I have 2 nics, for 1 for LAN and 1 for WAN connections. I can add another card for LAN if necessary.

Would it work to have LTSP and Zentyal on the same internal IP address? Or would it be better to give them separate internal IP Addresses? (or even different subnets)

LTSP is the Linux Terminal Server Project. It is basicly an x-session over TCP/IP. Clients receive a bootimage through PXE from the LTSP server. Then the applications all run on the server and are displayed on the terminal. (so you have some indication what LTSP does if you haven't worked with it yet)
