« on: April 03, 2011, 07:46:43 am »
Hello,

When setting POP3 account at Tunderbird, it said invalid username and password.

Please see the following screenshot what I have to setup in Zentyal Mail and Tunderbird:

It might be a dns resolution problem.  Try substituting an IP address for your smtp setting

Now I can receive and send email at local lan, when I tried to send email at home, it has warning message "Relay access denied", I think it was relay policy problem? how to set it for external network?

Confirmed ISP doesn't block smtp traffic.

Thanks !

I have set things up at work to make my remote users either A, use the web based client Zarafa, or B, VPN in to send mail.

Add a new object, LAN (your lan network address) and then add a rule to allow relay to that object.
Best regards
