Problem after upgrading to zarafa 6.40.8

After upgrading from zarafa 6.40.5 to 6.40.8 I have problems, the zarafa-server and zarafa-indexer goes down and I've to restart them manually.
There is a documented issue with zarafa 6.40.8 that have been addressed in 6.40.9 release, but there is no official upgrade in ubuntu repository.
My Question is, if I remove zarafa 6.40.8 manually and then I install official 6.40.5 from zentyal I may loose the configs, mails, etc?

Check the confkeys in /etc/ebox/80zarafa.conf. If you modify something you will need to restart Zarafa with /etc/init.d/ebox zarafa restart.
