The problem is that you cannot access to the POP3 service (port 110) in a external machine?.

Then surely, you don't have well configured the firewall, go to Firewall->Packet Filter, then 'Rules for internal networks' and make sure that 'Mail system' is allowed

If you  can connect without problems, you are not using the Zentyal mail services and that some clients receive their mail and others not; probably the problem lies in the client's configuration side.

If after checking the configuration the problem persists, which differences are between the clients that receive mail and the ones which not?. They are in different subnets?.  In this case try the telnet commands from all subnets to be sure all could connect with his DHCP configuration and the Zentyal firewall rules.

thankyou for your help.

>>you are not using the Zentyal mail services
no i am not

>>probably the problem lies in the client's configuration side.
i have checked their outlook client and it is same for all

>>which differences are between the clients that receive mail and the ones which not?.
they are all on the same subnet 255.255.255.0 and DHCP is enabled on Zentyal server,so all the users are getting ip from the zentyal
