I would like to give access to a shared directory to all users in the Domain Users group. Why is the group not listed? The only way seems to be to create a new group and use that to give access. It would be intuitive to use the Domain Users and Domain Admins groups instead of having to create your own groups.

Best regards,

Andrus

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have to create the groups that you want.  Samba doesn't instinctively run as an Active Directory type thing.

I've been wondering how to do this as well.

The "Domain Users" and "Domain Administrators" groups already exist by default in Zentyal., You just can't assign users to them or do anything with them for some reason.

Apparently Zentyal assigns users to the group "__Users__" by default, and I can't seem to change that. I would really like to give LDAP users the "Domain Users" group by default instead.
