Server very Slow to add Trafficshapping Rules :(

My server is very slow to add Trafficshaping rules, adding an IP takes 1 minute to complete :(.

Hi cleberrecebe,

Traffic shaping module uses L7 Filter to detect traffic protocols (p2p, voip...). This may be processor consuming depending on your bandwidth usage (number of users, internet usage...), yo can try to monitor cpu usage by l7 process, for example using "top" and see how it works.

In general: application based detection is much slower than port and if you have a low processor you may reconsider your config (hardware o software)
