Sieve multiple Ports
« on: October 20, 2010, 11:01:20 am »
Hey

i have a problem with SOGo. SOGo has in this konfiguration the Sieve port on 2000. in Zentyal or in the last stable Debian the Sieve Port is on 4190.

Can the Sieve Filter listen on 2 Ports?

We must be changed the dovecot config File?

Quote
On Row 53

listen = *:4190; *:2000

or other?

Chris

Normally sieve implementations now listen in 4190 instead of 2000  to avoid conflicts with Cisco SCCP.
(See http://news.debian.net/2009/12/13/debian-is-moving-sieve-to-its-iana-allocated-port/ ).

As far I know dovecot-sieve could not listen in two ports. Why don't try a port redirection?

The Firewall settings (Portredirection) have set for Port 2000 is on the Port 4190.
The Protokoll is TCP.
This has no affect, the time for saving in sogo is too long and E-Mail Vacation Mails was have nothing send

I have a post here for the Problem: http://forum.zentyal.org/index.php?topic=3453

Have you the firewall open for this?. Redirections dont allow automatically traffic

I think you forgot something in your last message. Anyway I wanted to mean that you need to have the port 4190 open, the redirection does not open it automatically.
