I can send but not receive mails
« on: August 16, 2008, 03:54:24 am »
Hello

I just installed ebox on one box 1.1.1.1 and squirrelmail on a debian machine 1.1.1.2.
I'm able to send mails to other domains(yahoo, msn, gmail ...) but i cannot receive emails from any of these domains. Mails sent to local users in ebox are delivered.

thanx for support

PS : ebox is not the gateway of my network and has only one network card.

You may announce to the authoritative server for your mail domain that your mail server is in eBox. That is, if a server asks to send a mail to foo@example.com, then DNS must know that the mail server for example.com domain is your eBox. MX records are intended to do that.

Best regards,
