How to Change path of User Home Directory?
« on: August 06, 2008, 01:32:51 am »
I would like to change the default path of the user home directory from /home/samba/users to another partition, so something like /external/Users/.

I would also like to modify the config file so as I add new users the directory is automatically created as it is now.

Is this as simple as modifying one config file?  I saw in the smbldap-useradd the path is a variable.  Where do I specify the variable?

Many thanks in advance.

Why don't you just mount /home/samba in another partition?
